Friday 5pm – 8pm
Saturday 8am – 8pm
Sunday 8am – 6pm
This time includes 1-3 yoga classes each day, practice teaching, discussion, posture clinics, group exercises, and self-inquiry work. There will be an hour break for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and participants can eat at Odyssey or go to a nearby restaurant/market to get food.
Odyssey’s training is paid for in 3 installments:
Depending on the timing of the modules you choose, it can take 2-6 months to complete the training. Participants must do their 4 Weekend Teaching Intensives, Applied Anatomy & Assisting Intensive, and have started the Mentorship Program before attending the Weeklong Immersion. We hold 2 Weeklong Immersions each year: one in the summer, and one in the winter.
You will officially graduate Odyssey’s Teacher Training after completing each of the modules and the Mentorship Program. Participants “test out” during the Mentorship Program, and they will do written exercises and short papers throughout the 4 Weekend Teaching Intensive.
Our group check-in is on Sunday; orientation and the first class is Sunday night. We will be committed all day, every day, to the program; if you want to do day trips and sightsee, plan on arriving before training or staying after training is completed. Check-out for our group is Saturday.
For students who are unable to attend the Weeklong Immersion due to work or personal schedules, there can be an option to complete two 4 Weekend Teaching Intensives (two different styles), and complete Sacred Reading and Energetic Anatomy projects. If you are considering this option, it needs to be pre-approved before the participant is able to move forward with his/her plan.
